Valkyrie Cadet Squadron
Welcome to the Valkyrie Cadet Squadron!

We invite all youth from ages 12 through 18 to come and experience some of what you will learn from Civil Air Patrol. Once a cadet, you'll have the opportunity to fly in Cessna 182 powered aircraft and take glider flights, attend aerospace-related events, and learn about search and rescue skills.
Our meetings are held at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum (located on the former Lowry Air Force Base); the address is: 7711 E Academy Blvd, Hangar #1, Denver, CO 80230. The meeting times are from 1830 until 2100 on Tuesday evenings.

The Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the U. S. Air Force and has three main missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services.
We use Aerospace Education to learn about flight and the different applications it has in our world.
